DAY 1
MARRAKESH – AÏT BEN HADDOU – DRAA VALLEY – ZAGORA
After breakfast, departure from Marrakesh to Zagora, also known as “The gateway to the desert”, crossing the chain of High Atlas, at the Col du Tichka pass (2.260 m). After crossing the mountains, we shall visit the magnificent Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a wonderful “sandcastle” laid as if by magic in a field of almond trees; so much beautiful and dense of such light effects to become the perfect set for many famous films, such as “Lawrence of Arabia” and “The Sheltering Sky”. It has also been declared UNESCO World Heritage. Moreover, it’s the only one kasbah with undamaged architecture of South Morocco. We shall then continue on to the south, pass the green Draa valley – the largest river of the country – and arrive in Zagora during the afternoon. We’ll then resume our journey on camel back, following an experienced Bedouin guide who will guide us on the dunes to admire the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in a tented camp.

DAY 2
ZAGORA – OUARZAZATE – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKESH
An early start to admire the sunrise and have breakfast. Return to Zagora on camel back and departure for Marrakesh, but we won’t miss to stop and take some pictures of the most impressive sights while admiring an unforgettable landscape. Stop at Ouarzazate and visit to the kasbah of Taourirt. Lunch and arrival in Marrakesh in the evening.
