Tours from Fes

Fes, the Western Mecca

Fes is the second city of Morocco with more than one million inhabitants. It has been the capital of the Kingdom up until 1925. The city has two medinas, and the biggest and more famous is the Fes el Bali one. Fes has been declared a UNESCO site in 1981 and it is also called the “Western Mecca” and “Africa’s Athens”. The Saiss International airport hosts the flights of many European air-companies, and therefore many tours for the Imperial Cities and the South start from here.
