DAY 1
MARRAKESH
Arrival at Marrakesh Airport, assistance from our staff and transfer to hotel/riad. Free dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2
MARRAKESH – MEKNES – FES
After breakfast, departure for Fes via the holy city of Moulay Idriss, the Roman ruins of Volubilis, and Meknes, also known as the “Versailles of Morocco”. Arrival in Fes in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3
FES – VISIT OF THE TOWN
Breakfast in hotel. After breakfast we’ll have the whole day to visit Fes, the most ancient of the imperial cities, founded in 790 by Moulay Idriss II. Fes immediately became Morocco’s most important religious city. During the visit, you can admire the Medina dating back to Medieval times, the Bounanaia and Attarine Medersa (ancient Islamic religious universities), the Karaouine Mosque from outside, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the famous fountain of Neijarine. We shall then visit the souks, Morocco’s most beautiful and vibrant markets. Lunch (optional) in a traditional restaurant located in the heart of the medina. In the afternoon, visit to the souk and the Fes el Jadid district. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad.

DAY 4
FES – CHEFCHAOUEN
Breakfast and departure for Chefchaouen, the “Blue City”, famous for its typical blue-painted house façades and streets, nestled among the Rif mountains. After arrival and check in at riad, whole day at disposal to visit the medina, to wander around the souk and see the famous Hammam. Free dinner and overnight stay in a riad.

DAY 5
CHEFCHAOUEN – TANGER – ASILAH
Breakfast and departure for Tanger, on the Atlantic coast in the north, beloved by beat generation writers and a source of inspiration for authors such as Paul Bowles and William Burroughs. The city proudly claims to have mythological origins, it is said to have been founded by Tingis, Anteo’s bride, killed by Hercules during one of his famous Labours. Visit of the Medina and old town. In the afternoon, we’ll depart for Asilah, 40 km South from Tanger. Free dinner and overnight stay in a riad.

DAY 6
ASILAH
Breakfast and visit to this wonderful resort, with its white buildings and bright atmosphere remeniscent of Greece and of Spain. Asilah is the home of artists and hosts an annual art festival in the mid/late July. The town is also the venue of a vast array of shows from June to September: flamenco concerts, design exhibitions, poetry reading and much more. Free dinner and overnight stay in a riad.

DAY 7
ASILAH – RABAT
After breakfast, departure and arrival in Rabat at around midday. Visit of the country’s administrative capital and fourth imperial city (after Marrakesh, Meknes and Fes). Visit of the Royal Palace (Mechour), Kasbah Oudaya and its gardens, Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 8
RABAT – CASABLANCA – MARRAKESH
After breakfast, departure for Casablanca, the country’s economic capital. Visit to the city, the souk, Habous district, Royal Palace, Mohamed V Square and Hassan II Mosque. In the afternoon, our journey shall continue, ending in Marrakesh in the evening. Transfer to a riad. Free dinner.

DAY 9
MARRAKESH – VISIT OF THE TOWN
Breakfast in riad. We’ll spend the whole day visiting the city, known as “The Pearl of the South” or “The Red City” due to the unique and characteristic red/ochre colour of its walls. It was founded in the 12th century by the Almoravid dynasty, which enriched it with truly remarkable palaces and gardens. Visit of the Saadian tombs, the gardens of Menara, Koutoubia and the Bahia Palace. In the afternoon we’ll visit the souk, the artisan district and the famous Djemaa El Fna square, perennially animated by snake charmers, fire eaters, storytellers, musicians and dancers, among lots of street food kiosks . Free dinner and overnight stay in a riad.

DAY 10
MARRAKESH
Breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the airport, based on departure times. End of services.
